Depending on the forums you frequent, there's quite a few popularized people that turn out to be backstabbers.

Sometimes it's best to just sit around and watch people make a fool of themselves, and not step outside of a small group of friends that extend offsite.

I find that the worst. Afraid to really talk or express yourself cause you don't think the other person would get you. I still struggle with it. Yo, I'd join your guild. Everyone with no neofriends come join.

I joined a guild that pretty much gained me a friend or two and I was able to actually talk to a handful of people. Otherwise I am pretty much an anti-social too and it's rare if I can actually take part in conversations. I don't mind it too much, however. Like others said, many of the users on there can be jerks...
