From what I've read, the stars are from caring for it correctly?

Your luck (stars) increases by interacting with your own Ryu. I always keep track of mine whenever I know I have left few days before evolving.

If I notice my stars are low I would turn evolutions off so I make sure to complete 5 stars. After completed, I would turn on evos again.

Yeah taking care of other and your own ryu, the luck increase faster by taking care of your own ryu.

You can turn off babysitting and take care of it for a period to boost the luck , but it will still take a week or so (can't remember haha) before you see the star moves / increase.

I think if your ryu is a step away from Death , its luck gets back to 0 , i remember seeing mine went down to 0 when darkskies saved my bun back then haha xD


This is probably another tip i guess ? Mainly for scene unlocking before you settle with a ryu u like ( like a rabbit ? haha)
You can hold your reset + evolution together to have a better time of keeping track on it ( since you won't be able to see any counters for reset cooldown)

1)You get max luck then evolve your ryu to the 2nd stage to unlock a ryu specific scene .
2) Then you reset your ryu to have a branch hop
3) you can repeat the process again next month

It's like Easter bunny! You have to go interact/go to the profile page of the users who had unlocked the halloween evolution (Owl). So far I remember @(you need an account to see links) but I'm not sure if we have more owls out there since I haven't had a chance to check in on ryus

You are right i am keeping her at stage 2 till the next easter on april to kick in so she gets to evo to the special easter bunny series. which was the 1st special branch off from the usual 3rd stage introduced by bat , follow up with the current owl which is the 2nd one. Since back then missed my chance to get to the 3rd evolution in time as the month ended.
