I wouldn't even say it's mean to the pet. Think about it: who's going to adopt tonypsmellslikesweatyballs99_63 the Blue Flotsam? But if an unsung hero zaps him and turns him into a Jelly something or Candy other, he's going to find a home, and maybe even clothes. Zappers put their time and energy into making unwanted pets more desirable and users they don't even know happy. It's pretty damn altruistic all around.

This is actually cute xD Even as a kid I didn't feed my pets 3 times a day, it was once a day if I was allowed on the computer and someone was available to watch me be on the internet. I want to collect more legacy merch though, I have all of the handhelds but the plushes I desperately want if I ever have space.
