I haven't been around for any NC event from Festival of Neggs I think - how does it work? Can you get the same prize multiple times?
Or is it more like the Halloween Event where you only get one of each and get a bonus if you get all?
Can I tune in later and wait a couple days to see if I like the things, or will I have to participate on day 1?
Most of these will probably not be good for retrading I feel and I also won't use many of them either, so I'm unsure if I should give it a shot.

Edit: Maybe I should mention that I did read the FAQ,, but it left me more confused than before due to the complicated sentences. 7. and 8. should hold my answers I think, but I cannot wrap my head around it.

The way it has worked in recent years is more like the Altador Cup NC event or the Advent Calendar NC event. There are three "eggs." The first egg will activate and release 5 prizes, one per day. Then the next egg will be activated, releasing another item each day for 5 days.

So, you can wait until the 2023 Neggs event to decide which items you want. The current kits available in the Mall are a 5-pack for each egg type, a 15-pack which gives you access to all 3 eggs, and a 1-pack which lets you pick any one prize from any apple after it's been released. (That's the "I want this item but absolutely nothing else" option.) You can buy multiple 1-packs to pick and choose if you only want, say, 3 items out of the total that will be released.

To add some extra spice in the mix, each egg will award you a bonus item if you get all 5 prizes from the egg using a 5-pack. (I don't THINK you will get the bonus prize if you get all 5 items using five total 1-packs, but I could be wrong.) Obviously, if you only want the bonus item, you can't pick it using the 1-pack - you have to buy the 5-pack and complete the whole egg.
