how does it just vanish from the site??? I've been playing neopets for almost two decades and this has never happened?????????

By sending in a ticket asking why it vanished. If you didn't get the item legitimately, or if you cheat on the account that got the item deleted, I would highly recommend not doing this and just let it go.

If you got this item on a relatively empty, new looking account, that could be why you got reported?
