Don't have much particular plans at the moment, work, rest, maybe catch a movie or two with some friends, video games, hopefully a nice chill summer.

Will probably have to do some big ol' summer cleaning though - I saw some mentions of weeding and that's gonna be part of it haha.
I'll probably have a couple events with some fam/friends in August, but that depends on the crowd's availability.

Hopefully the days don't get too hot

I only have a small flower bed in front of the house thankfully, but when the weeds get wild it's so noticeable haha

Oh I believe. I only have one friend with cats that's managed to have indoor plants. All the rest have to use fakes because of the cats lol

My husband has bookshelf after bookshelf. I'm really sick of moving so many books and I finally talked him into selling some. So we are in the process of sorting and deciding how we want to go about it. I'm thinking Craigslist and ebay and he wants to do one or two garage sale type things for books only.

Other than that, there are a few lovely watering holes in my area that I love to go to. You have to climb down a steep little embankment (and use a rope to climb back up). Its so worth it to swim in the little part of the river there. There are crawdads there so we always wear swim shoes.

I've thought about camping there overnight but I am such a wuss.

There is also this amazing lake about 2 hours away out on the mountains that is SO quiet. I want to go there this month. We can camp and be totally alone. Skinny dip to out hearts content and maybe do some smores and hot dogs.

When I first read this I thought you meant the slag "watering hole," like a hometown bar. And when I saw you said you have to climb to get there I thought, wow that must be a great bar! lol but really this sounds lovely

I had to double check myself and now I'm not sure I am using the right slang. Hmmm. I'll do some searching.

I have a cat and a huuuge number of houseplants which, fortunately, she couldn't care less about.

Meanwhile I have to do the weeding in the garden myself because weedkiller is dangerous to animals. My cat is currently stuck indoors, however, as a family of robins have decided to make their nest directly above the bench she likes to sit on. Robins are idiots.
