Fantastic! I'm glad that you found a solution. The additional forward-slash is added whenever you visit the site using just "neopets.com" without the "www." prefix. The site automatically redirects you to "www.neopets.com/", but erroneously adds an extra forward-slash to the url in the process. You should be able to avoid this issue by explicitly entering "www.neopets.com" whenever you first visit the site, however if the additional forward-slash is added at any other point in your browsing, then you can simply remove it from your url and press enter to make it go away!
