If I heard correctly, the CEO said the SAP info that NT complied helped them freeze a bunch of accounts.
Supposedly they’ve been launching an internal investigation into the rumor of Alice genning a ton of items in 2022 as well.

I kinda like the new faerie Ixi, too...I've never been a fan of the faint, thin, or coloured outlines of some UCs.

Same! I'm just shocked they went this route bc of the impending backlash LMAO – but ultimately I play to enjoy the nostalgia and the old art. if I can get that without having to pay extra to enjoy my existing UCs, I don't really mind what avenue they take.

Sorry, I've always been pretty distant to the "PC" and haven't played for years. Believe it or not I didn't even know people sold pets for real money until a couple of years ago. I found out my "Dream" pet was like $50 and I said well I'm never getting it then lol so yeah I'm pretty happy now. I get your anger tho, I'm sorry. I have no clue how much people spent on this but $40 was already too much imo for a single pet. I guess some people could have spent thousands.

Honestly, for me it's not about 'value' or trading at all.

What I do have is a bunch of pets that i painted myself that survived the original conversion and that I'm incredibly attached to. I also *lost* a lot of beautiful pets when they autoconverted.

Now under the guise of 'giving us back' (making us pay for) UC pets, they're going to forcibly convert my UCs that have been with me since I first painted them, changing the art work that I love to - in some cases - artwork I dislike. The nostalgia of having pets that have been around since the earliest days will be gone and so will the real UC artwork. And it also sounds like they'll be harder or even impossible for us to move and trade? Eh, it's not for me.

From what I heard, there wasn't any further updates on the plot. (Unless someone heard something while I wasn't paying attention haha)

From what I gathered yes, on the backend "UCs" won't exist anymore. I was just addressing the part about re-buying the NC item to apply the UC skin again, which doesn't seem to be the case.

To me it sounded like the trophy will distinguish the OGUCs from the NCUCs and implying that "not all pets will get the trophy" means replicas probably won't.

This also feels unfair to all the people who have lost pets to reversals. Although the trophy is actually just for aged pets, not for UCs, as far as I'm aware. So a pet that's been a blue chia for 20 years will get one.

This is disappointing, as someone who's invested way too much money in to the site for buying/selling etc. It's sad. Tempted to just pound some UCs to watch the chaos
