Is anyone else lagging?

So for the past 2-3 days my neopets has been super laggy to the point of no return, can't load anything basically.
Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else.
And if anyone had any idea how to fix this?

I tried on my phones internet and it didn't help, tried different browser too.
Any tips on what I can do?

There's a sitewide event going on, @(you need an account to see links), and the Neopets server can't handle the influx of people. This is just the way things are with Neopets - it has been this way for years. You'll have to keep trying to do whatever it is you're doing until you're able to push through.

My recycling event only works on my phone, not on my browser. Not sure if this helps. And when my VPN is off , it’s faster.

@(you need an account to see links) unfortunately this is how neopets has been for years. reminds me of good ol dial up days. As bat said keep pushing/refresh/reload/ whater you can do to get it done. i have to even watch the scripts i use now to make sure they even finish lol

I've literally had to stop running Kitchen Quest because of the lag, it's just not worth it at the moment.

Geez I thought it was just me.
I was like panicking because I have the faerie quest fortune cookie and doing the quests are just too difficult with the lag right now.
Managed to power through but dang, took a whole hot minute.

I forget exactly what they said, but the lag was mentioned in the live stream last night and Dom was talking about how it's a lot of old 'spaghetti code' that they want to update which should help eventually

Try at night, around 5 NST. Wtih everyone farming Cheat right now, I'm surprised the site works. Keep the faith, and a bit more patience. You'll make it through!

I get the dreaded 502 bad gateway on the daily lol. The lag is so unbearable I hope they fix it!
