Big ups to anyone who has ever made a script or posted any sort of lifehack or glitch to be exploited on neo. On god, y'all make my experience so much better.

Well my 7 year clraikiversary will be here next month. I don't really do alot of talking because I can tend to share to much info about myself. haha! But I love coming here each day! I will say that even tho 2020 has been a sucky awful year for everyone, being able to come here and just not think about the crap that has gone on this year has been amazing. I have chatted more this year and I have made more friends on here than the past 6 years. Of course I will always give a shout out to @(you need an account to see links) because she was my first real friend here starting in 2014 and I am so thankful for that.

And I have just loved being a part of this amazing community! Even if Neopets just up and disappeared, I'd still come here because it's just a really special place and I know that the admins and lovely people in charge really are angels because ya'll keep this place running and do your best to keep a safe and non-judgemental place. There are just sooo many amazing kind people here.

I appreciate all the amazing friends I've made over the years. I am so happy I've met my sister from another mister, @(you need an account to see links). I love every moment I get to talk about UCs or Neopets stuff, or now Animal Crossing and non-Neopets stuff with all the friends I've made here. I love being a UC guru and I wave that flag proudly. I appreciate that @(you need an account to see links)'s always there whenever I need him to talk and he allows me to lurk during the bad times. I love and appreciate all the people who have helped me grow since day one (or well, before day one cause of the previous sites) and who helped me get to where I am in the black market Neopets world.

I owe clraik and the people on it my life, basically, and I thank you all for that every day.

I was lurking the UYS thread and it was really heartwarming to see so many people here wanting to step up and help a particular user on the PC with getting a pet that had sentimental value to them. It was a nice aspect of an otherwise pretty shitty situation, and goes to show that people here are good-hearted and definitely (to borrow the words of @(you need an account to see links)) not just cheating assholes on a children’s site.

I think that’s the great thing about cK, really. There’s a perception that cheaters are no-lifers who fuck over innocent users (cue the choruses of “whO cHeAtS oN a cHiLdREN’s sItE”), but that really isn’t the case. Most of us are just grown-ass adults to want to get to enjoy our childhood goals without literal years of pointless grinding on a dying website. We never fuck with active accounts and denounce those who do, and when we see injustice or bad behaviour on site, we are quick to call it out. I’ve said this before, but I truly believe the cK community exemplifies the saying “honor among thieves”.

I also want to extend my appreciation to everyone who reached out with words of kindness and encouragement when I was in a bad mental health patch. I don’t speak up here very often because words don’t come easily to me, but I’m very happy to be welcomed and cared for nonetheless. Thank you all!

i'm generally kind of a shy person (which you probably wouldn't believe reading some of my brazen commentary in the UYS thread ) but i really feel comfortable on ck talking about stuff that can be more a touch personal or more of an opinion that i have vested interest in. not all of it really matters, not all of it is life changing or serious. but i can toss around memes, joke, give my two cents on things, and let me tell you in the year of our lord 2020 seeing The Following # Users Say Thank You to Crowley For This Useful Post: under something i said gives just the right amount of serotonin

Aero, alister, Double.Trouble, Nyanobite, Druid, Abyss basically EVERYONE who regularly contributes to UYS (actual UYS + now more regular Neopets related chatter, good and bad) for giving me Neopets tea and conversation I really can't find elsewhere. Thank you guys for pretty much always brightening my day in some way, shape or form!

AW so nice to be included, I still kind of think of myself as new/a lurker even though that�s.... completely untrue at this point lol. But I never consider that anyone notices my posts in like an ongoing way? Anyway that�s v sweet thanks.

Also agree, I�ve been putting off answering this bc I feel like if I start listing people I�ll leave a bunch out, but just like, the uhh usual suspects. The people who chat. The meme-makers especially.

ALSO I appreciate that whenever anything remotely uncool gets said, either on here on onsite, there�s a legion of polite but stern responses telling the offender to Cut That Shit Out. It�s really nice to be part of a community where I feel respected and defended.
