Right?? There's something about the way that animated mvs for japanese songs (like, the entirety of the vocaloid library of popular songs lmao) hit different... like I feel like I don't get emotional that often but watching them nearly ALWAYS makes me choked up in some way jskaljfdklas

God SAME. I freaking remember the vocaloid classics from like 2007-2011, there are so many songs that make me wanna cry even when the song itself isn’t sad! I’m just like god damn this song is beautiful and then i also get nostalgic and it’s just the waterworks from there T_T

Calliope is actually one of the newer Hololive members! She only started back in September but she’s been on the rise! Her album actually hit top 4 in Hip-Hop/Rap in the US, which I think is so cool since she’s essentially an anime girl �� The song I shared is my favorite from her so far, the other songs she put out are actually pretty cool but just not what I’m particularly interested in. She’s super talented nonetheless. Just gonna drop another sample from her here, it’s a remix that I personally preferred over the original hehe

Sistar is one of the girl groups who i absolutely adored back when kpop was still all about snsd and wondergirls etc.
Kpop has really come a long way since then.

Bit off topic but I love listening to videogame music! My fave composers are Grant Kirkhope and David Wise, they both worked for Rare on projects such as Banjo-Kazooie and DK64

I love listening to this soundtrack, so much nostalgia and super relaxing!
