If they re-release UCs and effectively wipe out the value of old UCs, I'd be gobsmacked; I just can't see it. They can't afford to piss of that many of their already diminished user base, so if the UC style artwork is brought back or something, there will be some kind of compromise where old UCs get to remain favourable.

After a poll like that - if UC / bipedal paintbrush does NOT come back, TNT may have just lost a lot more users who were barely maintaining interest in the ever-boring current "dialogue plot".

Like most everyone else I FLIPPED tf out when I saw the news, but don't really know what to make of it now that I've had my coffee and calmed down a bit. I feel like if they were interested in introducing a new pose, they could have done that without using grandfathered artwork. But you know, a lazy thief is better than... same ol' fists. Either way, if it's all UCs, some UCs, or just new poses which have nothing to do with UCs - I think it'll be pretty dope. Versatility in poses will be exciting, but I do have my fingers crossed for a chance to see the old mutant gelert again D:

They could add a ribbon or badge onto the artwork to show it was an original UC. That way pet trading won't die and those who just like the old artwork can get their desired pet.

This is what I see happening IF this is reintroducing UC pets.
That or the color itself will be like "UC Plushie". Or it'll have a tag like the "Zapped with the Petpet Lab Ray" one for petpets that were changed.
