I had to jump off my Core2Duo machine because oh Lordy the lag. My poor old eMachine was struggling. Best time was 40-something seconds.

Did it on my Dell i5 Desktop in 23 seconds. :/ So some older machines might have a tough time. Not all, but some.

What also helped was this:

-Set to default site theme. The new animated one adds to the lag.
-Shrink the game to 33%.
-Minimize the window and have the map open next to it for reference, that way you know where to go!
-Adblock helps (I'm sure everybody uses one here). Those pesky animated ads slow things down or freeze up the game.
-If you're having trouble on a certain browser, try switching. Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera.... They're all free to download. But I would recommend Firefox or Chrome.
-If too many blocks with the scarabs are in your way you might have to start over. Those blocks change location every time and bumping one costs a couple seconds.

I will pay someone to do the under 25 second achievement for me. Not even kidding. I've tried over a hundred times and I keep not making it because the third block in the shortcut REFUSES to turn for me no matter what I do for almost a minute. The first two are completely fine and I just have to walk past them. I'm gonna pull my hair out.

Try spamming "1" when you are on the L blocks to help turn them faster. Not sure if it works but it felt like it did and I got it fairly easy with the route link earlier in this thread or the one on JN.

FUCKING FINALLY.

I downloaded Firefox bc I could NOT get it to work on Chrome. And then none of the little ideas here (push 1 etc) worked at all. BUT I was able to get it done after about a million tries. Instead of pushing one or space or whatever, I just kept Lyra walking at the blocks until they moved. I had to restart a bunch of times too because she kept getting stuck and L blocks that were supposed to be moveable weren't moving at all.

Edit: I also switched site themes, so if anyone is having difficulty and still using the animated christmas theme we got, try turning that off.
