Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

I just went to see the movie.
Not gonna share my thoughts about it yet since probably not a lot of people here have seen it.

Are you going to watch it soon? Did you already do so?
    Let's share our thoughts

I hadn't even heard about this movie until a few days ago. I feel like it's one where Id want to read the book first. Unsure.

The book is actually really short, like 50 pages or so, and is more like an encyclopedia that tells you about the magical creatures in alphabetical order. In the end, just reading the first page, that talks briefly about the autor (who is the protagonist of the movie), would do. Generally speaking it's not needed to read any books for it, since it's all written just for the movies and if you have some Harry Potter knowledge prior, it will fit in a couple things but nothing more

I know! LMAO, he appeared for 2 minutes and honestly, might have won 2 million dollars for that
...I really thought he was going to appear on the next movie, so I was shocked when he appeared.

Same!! Didn't see it coming but started to see that character was bad though so something was up.

He'll get best actor while only dude for the whole movie gets only a mention in the credits

it's still a pretty cool book! there was also another one I remember my ex had called "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" which was also pretty interesting, it's basically a collection of fairy tales

I think pretty much as long as you know some of your mythical creatures you'll be pretty prepared to see this movie, I didn't even know it was out already I'll have to watch it eventually! also I heard they were making 3 movies out of this? not sure if that's accurate or I'm not remembering what I heard correctly but being that it's Harry Potter related I wouldn't be at all surprised
