Both Microsoft and Yahoo have closed sign ups for these domains, @(you need an account to see links). Hotmail has a means of creating alias email addresses that are associated with your Hotmail account, so you could use this method to retrieve emails to "hotmail.co.uk" addresses, however Yahoo altogether pulled the plug to the best of my knowledge.

In fact, you can't create a @hotmail.com address at all as an alias. There is only @(you need an account to see links).com. You also can't add an existing @hotmail.co.uk email as an alias either, or any Microsoft related email addresses as aliases (@live, @(you need an account to see links), @msn, etc). If it's legitimately your account, your best bet is to divulge every bit of personal info to support you can to try and get it back. They will want to know the e-mail address, past passwords or PINs, and cities/states/countries you logged in from or even where you were when you created the account.

If your info checks out usually they'll give it back.

Ah, sorry. Apparently Microsoft stopped allowing the use of the other domains at some point since I last used the feature. I still have hotmail.co.uk aliases attached to my Hotmail account, but I can't create new ones.

You might still be able to register an account with yahoo.ie if you need an alt sometime. (It still comes up as a separate home page, which makes me think this is the case.)

I use Yandex for my spam accounts now, though.
