Hahaha figured that'd raise some eyebrows! Muktuk is a traditional Inuit dish. It's way more popular in our villages/coastal towns versus the interior (where I live), and considered a delicacy if you can get your hands on it! Use every possible part of any animal harvested, nothing is wasted. Muktuk is served parboiled/raw, has an almost nutty flavor and is sometimes served with seal oil- I actually tried it myself for the first time last weekend, the fat is chewy and the skin crackled/popped >_O Had to say I tried it, but probably won't again lol.

Around here it's drowning everything in green chile. I just wish it were spicier most of the time.
I'm not from this state, but I live in Georgia, where chicken & waffles are a thing. I was raised up north in NY and never would've ever thought to put those two together... but holy shit, it's an amazing combination lol.
As for where I'm from... we love plantains & we can cook them about 20 different ways, and every single way is delicious ♥ These are my favorite, platanos maduros (fried plantains)... they're sweeter than alot of desserts:
It's not really a meal but green chili. It goes in EVERYTHING here. Hell we even have green chili wine. Haven't tried it yet but I really want to.
