A lunatic drove about 2 km over a crowd in Nice, France.
By now at least 84 people have died; 50 people remain critically injured.
According to a hospital, unknown, 28 children are injured.
I have no words to describe how I'm feeling right now.
Even though I had no friends or relatives there, I couldn't help but cry due to that.
It is awful. The violence is getting to be so extreme that even enjoying a fireworks display is dangerous. Anywhere with a crowd. May the victims of this tragedy RIP.
So heartbroken. I pray the family members of the deceased are surrounded with support and that those still fighting for their lives will fully recover.
WTF is wrong with people?! I can't even comprehend how some human beings can completely bypass any trace of empathy for this bullshit they do to others... how it ruins lives, tears loved ones inside out... not a thought, not a care, NOTHING?! Is live and let others live really that freaking hard?! Stupid. Fucking stupid.
Extremely horrifying. My parents are on holiday in France right now somewhere in the same area. I was honestly scared that they were in Nice at that moment but luckily they were not. I cannot believe something like this happens in France over and over again.
I mean what are they going to do about this? There were no weapons involved and he made it such a simple example for others out there that are planning to do the same. The only thing you need is a damn truck?! Its not like you can ban trucks to exist.
France has to lay low for a while to recover and not say any stupid words about terorism or IS again. They have been way to straight forward/outspoken about it which probably made them the targets.
I feel very sorry for all the people there celebrating the special holiday. This is insane.
Its just awful I can't believe what the world is coming to
I blame the EU for this stuff happening. I'm so glad my country is leaving it
The guy was a known criminal and suspected of terrorism so why the hell was he not locked up!?!?
