Have they offered any backstory to this plot aside from this guy being a creepy door-to-door salesman? I don't understand why I should feel any animosity for this character, and using the stock graphics for the faeries make it pretty clear that they didn't actually flesh this out.

Yeah i'm in the same situation. I've already gotten 3 ffqs on my main alone lol.

The quests were working fine for me until today I got my first glitch, I gave the grey faerie the item and then my page was blank and now I'm annoyed like everyone else. I bet it was my FF dip as well.

But I've been pretty lucky stat wise getting fyora and the soup faerie a few times.
