Buying NC cards from other people instead of Neo directly was a great way to support other people in the community. You pay less for a card, the seller earns a small profit, Neopets made the money in the end anyway...it was a win-win-win.

If they want people to shell out more money, then their product needs to be worth it. And 95% of the NC items that come out aren't worth it.

I've never really engaged with the Neocash trading side of the game so apologies if I get something wrong there.

But why would you do this? Have you thought about this decision? I really really hope TNT did a market analysis and consulted several opinions because it seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot with this. You had a reliable, steady income with this method, where everybody involved in the process won and most importantly - your customers felt like they were getting their money's worth. And you threw it all away due to greediness? In the worst year for economy in this century + the hardest year for your site since ever?

They are even saying 'hey, 2020 has been a rough year and we have to convert the site and prepare for flashpocalypse blah blah blah'? Maybe your best option is to not bite the hand that feeds you, because nobody will pay your overpriced NC unless you absolutely step up with your content...

...and thats something you can't afford to do because, well, you have like 10 people working on the site and barely 1 month before all your site crashes down.

I can't wrap my head around this. For your own good, I wish you have studied this decision with people that understand market and economy, not your company senior executives. Good luck, you'll need it.

honestly it kinda shows that tnt thinks that their nc content is worth it, I mean it’s their only content nowadays, there’s nothing going on for months on end besides new nc items every week. they really trying to money grab, if they cared at least a little bit about their player base maybe they’d make nc cheaper and have people buy more - awarding more nc literally costs tnt nothing, but instead they really just wanna make it more expensive it’s so sad
