What are your unpopular neopets opinions?

Hahahha wow! There is so much pent up anger towards UCs, customisations and some specific pet colours - loved reading through all of that.

I have to add one more that isn't mentioned in this thread yet.

After Adam and Donna left, the current overhaul they are forcing out on Neo is probably the best thing to happen for Neo even though there is some seriously tough opposition to a responsive website that works equally great on mobile and desktop! I think TNT is finally coming through with a promise of overhauling the website (and that bungled up mobile app promise) and I honestly thought Neo would have died out fully without them ever even managing to push out a completely new website design!

(But who knows, maybe the new website design will be the death of Neo for good too )

In game trading of high end items (retired stamps, rare plot prizes, old cove/ht...) is hell on earth. There is a smallish group (~50) of people that trade back and forth their items, waiting a few months/years to do so. Everybody hates everybody and you can't even trust your shadow because if you're out of this known people group and someone notices you have any certain item, you'll probably get reported to hell even when everything that is being traded is absolutely illegal.

Its like a never-ending cycle: we all know your item is illegal but we all look the other way until you just reject any trade or piss off some child and then you'll be reported and looked down upon. Nonsense.

And I absolutely agree: there should be a way to re-introduce old stamps and such. And also a new, real np sink. Dr Sloth auctions were great but only one were given at that time and one rich person would be even richer. Perhaps a really small, but announced, cove-like restock?

I love Zafaras. Mainly female zafara royal. I never had one, but I always wanted because when I started playing neo, I remember that the strongest neopet was one of those.

I prefer my converted pets to my UCs because customization is honestly my favorite part of the game at this point. UCs have great art, but as someone who can't draw but likes making pretty pictures anyway, I get a kick out of finding new combinations of items that look good together and trying to have what I think are the prettiest pets on this outdated children's website. Those fancy little bitches keep me going, what can I say?

Other online games with in-game economies have cliques of rich people, that's true. But very few games have a development team who will close your account based solely on reports, without investigating whatsoever. That's a distinctly Neopets thing.

I'd say... Lutari's are overrated!!!!! I love the old version of them but the converted ones damn I just don't like them!

DN/BN pets aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be, especially if it's just some shit like Timmy_90. I'd take that over some of the convoluted "VWN" pets any day.

OH YEAH! I think some bad named names have a lot of personality. Like some creative, funny and cool compounds with _ and #. I don't really know why it is so nice to have a pet named John on Neopets.
