Hey welcome, many of us here on CK return.
And... I'm back again.
Hello everyone, I will try and not make this sound like an AA meeting introduction.
I started playing NP with my sisters about 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with it, about 3 years in I discovered you could cheat online video games (shocker, right?) and this started the typical get frozen - take a break - come back vicious cycle.
It was a big dream of mine as a kid to study something related to computers so that I could work @ neopets when I grew up - lol.
Fast-forward many years, I'm a computer scientist working as the lead engineer for a FinTech startup based in San Francisco, married, powerlift competitively, and still couldn't fight the urge to come back and play Neopets again when I came across a facebook post - so many memories!

I'm returning too! Turns out my old account was frozen when I tried to get back into it
I'm not sure why...maybe inactivity or someone tried to get into it maliciously or something? T T
I never did. They used to have a page on the site for employment opportunities and mods had to work weird hours (I think to cover the boards during the night shifts) and I was in college at the time. I thought about it a lot though. I tried looking for the employment opportunities page just now and couldn't find it. But man, that would have been a sweet side gig.
