Al Jazeera is doing a recap right now if you have that TV channel.

also trump isn't a politician. like, literally he is just some super rich, corrupt, weird guy who used to be a liberal. he can say whatever he wants. everyone (including myself) loves watching him, waiting for the next trumpism.
i loved how each of them went into the whole, "i was born and raised by a mailman/bartender/very poor beaver" & trump is just unapologetically like, "i'm rich af bitchez and i always have been"
i wish someone would have (or is going to) count the cliches in this debate tho lol i don't remember anything very specific / most of them never answered the questions
Out of all of the loonies, Kasich actually seemed quasi-normal and at least during the debate, less likely to try to tickle the taints of the insano-christians. I am strongly of the opinion that anyone who openly identifies as Christian is a complete loon. One identifies by denomination, not their overall archetype, that is so silly and typically hints at extremism (most of the time). I may not agree with him on many matters, but he seemed a lot less extreme. I love how they called Hillary Clinton radical for supporting planned parenthood....I chuckled. I have a strong feeling that Trump simply went Repub because he figured he had a better chance, I mean look at the knuckleheads hes running against...
I am just beside myself that they asked about God talking to them...what the fuck...for people who spew nonsense about the founding fathers (and apparently dont understand their ideas and principles), and who love to criticize theocratic Islamic governments, they sure as hell love to mix religion into their views and beliefs of how a government should govern and what its policies should be.
I just wish that Elizabeth Warren had run. While I like Hillary in general, I will likely end up going for Sanders in terms of primary.

i agree with everything you said. i was pleasantly surprised by kasich and his response to gay marriage. also i can't wait until this planned parenthood shit dies because the videos were fabricated and all of it is false. also yeah, makes sense trump would choose the tea party because how could he win against actual levelminded people? he wouldn't last a week in the democratic party just because we don't have crazies in the same way that the republican party does.
AND YES WTF ABOUT GOD!!!! i mean, ok, i get it. talking about god with conservatives is a main way to get everyone in the same page and a political tactic to reach out to the many conservative christians. i get it FINE WHATEVER but it's a lousy debate question nonetheless.
i also wish warren would have run. i guess she didn't want to. i probably will vote for sanders in the primaries, but he won't win once we start actually nearing down to the time periods that are important (right now everyone is way too far off to count for much).
yeah but i still don't get the religion obsession on the republican side considering why we came to this country in the first place
I didn't read this thread but I think Trump is an idiot and the prospect of Rick Perry becoming president scares me a lot
The thought of Hillary becoming president keeps me up at night.

I think that people are a little hard on her. Judging what she did, say as Sec of State is silly because she is supposed to do the president's bidding anyways as said position. I think that after seeing the debate today, and hearing the stupidity of it all, and losing count of all the religious references between questions and debater comments, I think that even those against her would easily concede that she is the lesser of two evils. I really like Sanders, but I do not think that he has the ability to not only get the D nomination, but could not gain the mass appeal necessary to defeat the Rs. To hear someone talk about unborn fetuses having constitutional rights blows my mind. To hear someone, outside of the medical or scientific community mind you, suggest that they are against abortion in case of life or death (which, Fox even quoted as representing 80% of the population) due to there being "other alternatives" is beyond me. If there are soooooooooooooooooooooo many people looking to adopt, may I ask why social services and adoption agencies are maxxed out with kids? I just cant. And what is worse is the fact that there are fucktards in this country who buy into the bullshit.
The R party truly is trying to bring the 1950s back, and I find that alarming. These are college educated people saying the stupidest of things. It is not about opinion, based on facts, regarding issues...this is about religion, blindly taken on faith, and refusing to hear anything else. I find that incredibly scary. I am really disappointed in the ability (or lack there of) of the population to reason and think intelligently. Their whole schtick has become the use of buzz words instead of talking about issues...it is like some spam craigslist ad or something.
taxs: veterans, american values, christian, god, pro life, fuck the gays.
Like, the Supreme Court has decided issues and STILL, in the case of Roe, 40 years ago (!), one party (Republican) REFUSE to accept defeat and comply. Like they made their case, they were heard, and they lost....I cannot for the life of me understand why this is ok? Why are torches and pitchforks not being raised? To lose on an issue, and still drag heels, shut down parts of the government, and enforce potentially harmful or illegal state or municipal laws in defiance of the law of the land is horrifying. People like to cry and shout at Obama and the Democrats, that he wants to take guns away and declare martial law....yet we already have people who are BLATANTLY defying law and setting their own policy contrary to what has been LEGALLY decided and declared as law. That is a lot scarier than a nonsensical, hypothetical, and irrational, fear of a sudden lapse into a totalitarian, socialist, government -_-.
There is disagreeing on issues, and there is extremism. To hear these clowns call Hillary Clinton an extremist, out of touch with average Americans, FOR SUPPORTING PLANNED PARENTHOOD? I just dont get it. It legit does not make sense.
