I've been finding different small creators and businesses through TikTok and buying their merchandise to support members of the community versus big box stores trying to capitalize on the month! The pride celebration for my town isn't until August (date was picked before covid restrictions were lifted), so I will be going to that with my friends when the time comes
amazing userbar!
well I just got word that one of my best friends and my dorm mate at uni has finally been allowed to adopt a son with his husband so we're throwing a small BBQ to celebrate this tomorrow (small due to covid restrictions). They will then be having BBQ's for the next couple of weeks each time with other mates from our dorm as we aren't allowed to meet up all at once.
Each time they'll also be coming home to a decorated house as we secretly are organizing that those that cannot attend will do that instead and we'll be rotating that as long as the BBQ's are going on as well.
Happy pride month to all and personally best pride month of my short life on this earth so far!

During non-pandemic years I like to participate in our local pride parade! As that is currently not possible, I've tried to consciously celebrate by listening to public lectures on gender and sexuality in history and archaeology instead. Other than that, I make sure to not give my money to companies who participate in rainbow capitalism.
I should change my username to Dooooot

My state isn't doing their IRL pride celebration until October, but to be honest I've never gone because I'm not the biggest fan of big crowds and lots of noise. I still wanna go at some point! Maybe next year! I might go to some of the Lesbians Who Tech Virtual Pride Summit keynotes, especially as I'll have the time this month.
Work is having a bunch of events where you can get together and learn to support as an ally as well as well as a few other things (different kind of discussions, how can you support, what the company is doing etc)
Also, as someone who consistently wears black & neutrals, I've added a little pop in colour to my wardrobe when I go out in public.

Our city usually has a great Pride Parade and lots of events happening during Pride month. Sadly covid stoped that.... Our work actually did a Pride Drive which was pretty sweet seeing a large organization recognizing LGBTQ2S+ individuals. Full disclosure; I feel that I am pretty naive (if that's the correct word) when it comes to LGBTQ2S+ terminology. So to celebrate Pride I wanted to educate myself! So I've been doing lots of reading and chatting with friends so I am more educated. I'm also going to celebrate by doing a bunch of the Pride themed workouts on my Peloton app as well.
Happy Pride everyone!
In my country, we have an annual event to show support, and we wear pink!
Since last year, it has became a virtual event.

I like to have conversations and talk to people to be open-minded. People should be allowed to express themselves and do what they please without judging them.
Donate to organizations working to make a difference and wear some rainbow.
