I agree with this. As someone who manages PR and customer relations for a company, this email was almost bizarre to read when I received it, and honestly this seems like a gambit on Overpowered's end to appeal to customers using "full transparency". The email could also probably be summed up in a couple of sentences -- instead a lengthy sob story was given. They must have felt pretty desperate without the support from Jumpstart/Netdragon, whichever company was in charge when they first got the deal.

I honestly thought it was too good to be true until I got to this part.
I just can't. Made me feel like they had no idea who we are.

Overpowered's CEO has sent out another email, this time asking for financial support. I didn't agree with everyone's interpretation of the first email, but it looks like I was wrong. I'm not going to buy more of your products when you're already three months behind.
That second email has reaffirmed my decision to not buy anything until the orders have been fulfilled.
Exactly... like this second email has taken away any sympathy I had from the first email. They shouldnt be thinking about more products, they obviously failed with the first set!
Although... an Alien Aisha, or just more popular Aisha colors overall, wouldve done really well I think. Its sad, I had high hopes for Neomerch

Oh jeez, what a mess. I had such high hopes.
