I think it's been at least a week since I got a new popsicle too. It truly seems to be random, I can't see it being related to specific words since I got two of mine from just posting on the "What You're Listening to" and "Wordle Flex" threads. Definitely seems like when one person gets one, others are more likely to get them too. Or rather, just more activity on the site = more likely to get a pop! Which probably explains why some haven't gotten any since 4th of July, when everyone was scrambling to find the pops!

Yep, it's very random. However, according to Bat, two mechanics can be stacked to increase your chances. No one is certain about the two mechanics, but Bat mentioned that they had been discussed earlier in this thread. One could be posting in a thread you haven't posted in before. That's because I unlocked my last 2-3 popsicles in threads I had never posted in prior. Another could be replying to/quoting someone else's post, but I'm not 100% sure. After the 4th of July, I recall that it took 2-4 days to unlock each popsicle for me.

Other things that may/may not be helpful:
- I believe that after the first day or two, no one unlocked popsicles in Spam threads
- Another theory that was mentioned was to do with matching your UB display to the colour of the popsicle you are missing (I personally didn't do this)
- Another theory was to leave some space in your UB display (I tried this, but I recall that all my popsicles were unlocked when my UB display was full)

Every time that I did unlock a popsicle, my UB slots were all full! And when I was hoping to unlock the blue and pink pops to match the UB color theme I had previously, I only received the orange and green. Interesting theories though!

I am going to try change to a more grey tone UB theme. Worth a try. I pretty much feel like the treats I dont post on I have nothing to say but maybe I should try revisit that theory it was pretty much what I thought. YOu need to post in threats you have not posted in before.

But the theory of having a blank UB space is debunked since I never have a free space and got them all :p

I do think that writing long and/or meaningful posts in different threads around the forum (specially where
you're not very active have higher rates of getting them popsicles.
