NC UCs coming in December!

I think they've released two surveys some time back containing a TON of questions on how we want to NC UCs to look and even giving us redrawing samples and I'm like.....just....give us the UCs we already have haha. Even when they explain how they'll work, it's still really confusing?? It's like even they are still confused on how they'll sell these to us.

I completely agree, their marketing has been so confusing and vague that I have literally no idea what this is gonna look like lmao. The 12 year old Neopets whale in me is hella ready for it tho

I would love more pet slots and to please please make them transferable omfg

they did say that was their intention toward the end of the JS era but tbh at this point it feels like it's an infrastructure/coding issue they probably can't easily work out and don't have the care/resources to pivot toward it -.-; which makes me really fucking annoyed since gifting pet slots was the ONE thing I really fucking wanted above all else!!!

Gifting in general could be improved in Neo Subeta's dead as can be but I love love love their gift giving system. You pick wrapping paper, you send a message which the receiver gets to store in a specific page (so you can always look back at who/what gifted you) and in December you get a little Christmas tree people could put little gifts under!

this is one of the main things about subeta that makes it feel so special! i wish neo had something similar to this

So as posted on the Neoboards today and in our under your skin thread, the art gallery is hosting an 'UC Pet' themed day on January 26th!

Hold me, fellas, is it actually happening?? It does feel like Jan 26th is about as late in the month as they can do it without us all going loopy. I don't know what it's going to look like but I'm excited to see what happens!

Yeah honestly one of the things sites like Subeta and Gaia really excelled on was ways for the community to interact with each other, but I suppose to be fair both sites have significantly more robust "forum" systems than Neopets. Not to mention the whole freedom of speech thing, for better or worse. 💀 Neopets really just needs to fucking get with the times and release their draconian filter hold like seriously it's SUCH a big detriment idk how we've lived with it for so long... =_=
