I don't think the proxy feature in SBP is working properly for most proxies anymore. Over the years, people began reporting this more and more. I can try and look into this again, but it won't be an issue in the next iteration of this auto-buyer.

Doesn't even worth with Proxifier at all. Followed the guide to a tee and it still won't login. I guess the ABer is out of commission? How are others using it currently? None of this makes any sense.

It works with Proxifier. I've used it for years... Did you follow the guide I linked you?

I did, and I keep getting "Could not connect through proxy" when firing up StealthBuyerPro.exe, the Chrome test works fine and the proxy IP shows up as indicated in the guide but it fails as soon as I open StealthBuyer

Getting pretty discouraged if i'm being honest, this has been way more problematic than i've ever anticipated.

Don't set the proxy in SBP if you've got it working with Proxifier... use the bot without enabling the proxy feature.

I've been trying every couple of days or so for the last week to login via single login and no proxy. I am constantly getting stuck on "checking to ensure login"

I downloaded the VB files on page 1 of this thread; I restarted several times. I waited hours, days, etc. I can login normally on my browser and stealthcore works just fine. I can't figure out why I cannot get past the checking to ensure login message on this program! Please help! Thank you


EDIT: i overlooked a comment suggesting I used only lowercase letters in my username. That allowed me to login instantly! Thanks anyway

Sorry, P41nt (and everyone else). We're aware of this issue, and we're currently testing a consistent solution. StackPath gets particularly riled up when the Neopets site is getting slammed. We suspect that someone out there is going ham with faulty automation that isn't designed to deal with StackPath validation pages. and this is being perceived by StackPath as a DDoS attack. Until the Neopets team steps in to block that traffic, StackPath will continue causing grief.

While you can't completely shake off StackPath, it is generally less aggressive towards home (residential) IPs as opposed to business, cloud, mobile, proxy and VPN IPs. If you can safely use your home's internet connection, and if that internet connection isn't borrowed from a coffee shop or eatery nearby, then you might stand a better chance of ducking the more repetitive validation requirements. This isn't guaranteed to last forever though, since StackPath gets fidgety when Neopets is particularly busy, or when you've hit the site yourself a few too many times.
