For whoever is interested in this item (although it is really the Bag of Maraquan Neopets) You can find it in the NC Mall again and there is no retired date for it.

i really hope no one had traded for it because it was valued at 1000+ caps, it like the cupcake curtains, hopefully the backlash will be smaller since it was a rarer item but also a bigger loss to whoever traded for it x.x

What a bizarre little item. Why are the petpets actually pets? Why are they so much smaller than the pet that would be holding the bag in any custom using it? I had never even heard of this, RIP to anyone that did empty out their closet to trade for one of these in years past

If i’m not mistaken, from the wearable nc items it was the highest valued due to rarity, only behind a couple retired caps

It's so funny to me that someone wanted this silly little item and they were able to get it by simply asking. I can't imagine THAT many people genuinely wanted it for any reason other than its rarity, but good for them! It makes me wonder if there's any other odd items like this out there.

I agree. For anyone who don't know about this, this was asked in the newest editorial and that might be the reason for them to re-release it:

"Legend has it that in the spring of 2013, a wearable NC item called Bag of Water Petpets was released for only a few minutes. A few minutes?! You could be such an epic hero if you released this item into the mall for a month or season. The hero we need right now! I have no idea about if anyone asked this before and the staff only replied to this recently or not, but it is crazy if anyone really offered that much for this only for it to be release with just one ask. I am not aware of any trade happened for this although there is that mad price, and see no body complain about it so I doubt no trade ever happened, lol.
