Neo_Truths called out on Neopets Reddit

I know I'm just repeating what everyone has said in here but I honestly just can't wrap my head around why the general population on Reddit/Discord are okay with N_T.

Cause he makes TNT look stupid and people have had beef with how things are run for ages.
Just look at what he posted very recently, gave a redditor a reason for why he got banned when support refuses to even give him a human response.
Shit like that keeps giving him a good rep there despite the alarming fact that he has access to all your user info and gen tools.

I love every time they start having these discussions in the r/neopets discord (when dice isn't there to immediately shut it down) because some people really do just exist to rationalize everything he does. Like really, suck off n_t harder why don't you LMFAO.

And the whole "anyone upset about this leans toward cheaters anyways" comment the other day, holy kau. I don't have to be a cheater to care about the safety of my data

I'm not sure I agree with everything he says though. They definitely do look into things a bit closer in certain circumstances. I've had instances where an account was frozen, then other accounts I'd sent things to or otherwise interacted with were also frozen... but the second level of accounts had sent items to OTHER accounts and those ones were fine. They really seem to pick and choose.

I've also had instances where I'll use the same VPN for a bunch of accounts off and on. Something will get iced if I get a little too sloppy, but the other accounts are not iced along with the frozen account. I'm not sure what their rhyme or reason is... but them freezing an account that used the same IP as an account in 2022 sounds a bit too out there for me to believe. I can't see them going that crazy with it.

Personally I don’t trust him at all but it doesn’t matter for the average player cause they already have huge trust issues with TNT for good reasons. They were way too ban happy for almost a decade, sneeze wrong and you lose all your progress.
It’s to the point where people start panicking when they see that automated message from TNT when they buy NC items or get Trudy’s avatar.

I think it is very ironic people on Clraik of all places do not trust this user when there are pages for autobuyers and scripts 2-3 clicks away. Rules for thee not for me. I am not saying anyone here is inherently a bad or untrustworthy person for using scripts to assist or even just going as far as autobuying/score sending but there's a severe level of irony when we are discussing trustworthy Neo-users.

I remember 7-10 years ago when someone here dumped their Google Doc of 2,000+ aged shells that are 10-23 years old today (I still have several). There is no way that user manually set that up, thanks to Neotruths we know that there are similar users with over 20,000 shell accounts in use. I wouldn't be shocked if there were multiple users like NT. If Neotruths wanted to do something drastic, they would have already. Neo Truths is our guy faux but also the only window we have to seeing what goes on internally. I have never trusted TNT with my account playing legitimately or not, it's just nice to know that if I get unfairly frozen today, there is someone who is willing to explain the digital trail leading up to it.

Also the user is just a complete blanket statement to the status of Neopets in 2023. Super unsecure and out of date everything. Any real monetary transactions are completed through a third party service that he has no access to. I just don't understand what fears you would have unless you are deliberately communicating sensitive information on this game site.

Ah yes, me playing NeoQuest with a script is the same as this guy sitting around right in the middle of the Neopets databases and coding, being able to do literally anything and no one will notice what he does. Even worse, he has insight into every single personal detail of every single Neopets user. I'm sure he can see credit card numbers as well since tnt just stores everything in one big pile. That's really trustworthy and sooooo "Guy Fawkes" of him , lmao
