The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am that I don't like the jewelry because I would love to shout it out in a subtle (or frankly, elegant) way. And also rare item codes are nice.

I was looking through the What's Your Passion site and really only found one I liked, apparently an MCU pet cat? idk, but it's cute.


idk, i'd love something like that or else something that really leans into the bright and poppiness of neopets and makes me long for the days where I just had a bunch of chunky jewelry organized by color

help, i'm getting lost in a rabbit hole of "classy nerd jewelry"

I'm salty it will cost me another $50 to get the necklaces for the shipping. I feel if I'm spending close to $400 USD for 3 things the shipping should be included. It's already overpriced because comic con but the fact the marvel stuff is cheaper kind of tilts me.
I agree with others saying it's better to sell the brass things in places like hot topic rather than here, more people are likely to buy it, cheaper to make, and when they steal art it's not a shock at all.

The combination of high brow/low brow is all off I think is the problem. Like I could totally see myself wearing little neopets around - enamel pins ideally, maybe patches or tiny charms, but like fun casual wear. If I�m dressing up it�s not �let�s rep neopets� time? Or at least I�d hope for a prettier, more subtle look. A very fine, stylized pendant or something. Idk I just from the bottom of my heart don�t get these.

Oh, dang! Yeah, they didn't have any with a model, so I was imagining something on the bigger side, maybe 2-3x that. Honestly if it's small, it feels more subtle (relative to my imagining), I'm slightly more inclined to buy one. idk, i've bought jewelry with real gold/gemstones and also had a tiny bit of witness to the backend/wholesale side of jewelry-making, so it still doesn't feel unreasonable price-wise, but it's still something I'd love to check out in person before committing to a purchase.

I absolutely love jewelry, especially necklaces! I have way more necklaces than necessary. So I love that Neo is releasing official jewelry!!

But yet I can't help but feel a little disappointed with these? For something that is essentially expensive fine jewelry, I was expecting something a bit more dainty and subtle, that I could wear to work or to a formal event. For example, the Yuri Katsuki heart pendant necklace by ALGERNON PRODUCT that I own

I feel that the design just doesn't suit the price. If these were made with cheaper metals, it would look like fandom jewelry that I could pick up in Hot Topic for $20. These are super cute though, and I would totally wear them around the house or when hanging out with friends, but not for that price.

Or the perfect Sailor Moon/Sakura Cards Captor jewelry that has been around for ages. As someone who knows a little bout jewelry and precious metal/stones; these necklace aesthetics aren't worth the price, and silver isn't that pricey; and if they go with the brand as in the Kacheeks example, they aren't even trying... I mean, i have pins with a more delicate ending, like Fangamer's.

I'm this mad about this because i'd have neo jewelry jahahahhaha
