Cliffs:
- Jade, Scrappy and Raven are interviewed (idk who that last one is)

- TNT lurks the boards a lot, Scrappy says she gets in trouble every time she posts with ppl asking about the Battledome / "answer my ticket" etc
- New merch in 2020 but no specifics yet
- new neopets species: they have an idea, there is a plan to have a plan (...). The artists draw up species for fun, one producer sends in ideas sometimes
- The alien nimmo from the 20th anniversary pics was a creation of Dr Doodle or something and doesn't sound like a hint of what is to come

- html 5 conversion going well. Customization, items, etc is a lot of work. Games wise, starting with 20 most popular games. Then build from there. They said meerca chase was already done.
- number 1 most played game is Kass basher. Meerca chase is popular, faerie bubbles. Destructo match. CEO's favourite game is Kass Basher.
- re the neopets X demo at comic con. Coming along well, starting off at a beta sometime early next year. It's a 3d world builder, has crafting elements, social elements. There is another team focused solely on this game.
- what is the wildest thing they've seen on the boards: they had difficulty answering. Jade (?) apparently tries to save boards to read later but loses them. They mentioned the day when the moderators were gone (the Day of Sin). They came back and saw screenshots and said welp, temporarily went from child friendly to not.
- "curiosities" segment: favorite weird item. Jade (?) researched some: bacon tape, sobbing onion, and adhesive tape tostada. She credits Reddit for those finds. Scrappy (I think) brings up non lethal sandwich.
- softball blah blah questions about what food they'd want to eat sorry don't care enough to transcribe. Someone's favourite food is cheese pizza woooo. Someone wants to know what Borovan tastes like
- neocreation week is a favourite time
- RC: 260 entries, scrappy and jade took weeks to decide. Re the capsule itself, they said the original art was perfect as is and didn't even have to be redrawn
- what did you know about neo before arriving: scrappy says a few ppl were superfans, she was not. Now she went down the rabbit hole playing, doing "research". She gives herself all items and customizations. She has 5 kougras. Her least favourite is jubjub (gasps all around the room). She thinks they're hard to customize.
- podcaster mentions xwee was supposed to be fugly (per Donna's comment in a Reddit AMA) and it turned out to be so popular
- jade: re getting rid of a species question in editorial. Was shocked by the question.
- who is the most popular pet? General muttering about there being a page about this ranking somewhere (hint: yes)
- Jade's least fav pet is skeiths (how DARE u). Podcasters do not like skeiths and buzzes. In case u care
- Raven: Aisha is used when first creating new items, and blums. One 4 legged one 2 legged.
- controversy on Aisha pronunciation
- scrappy asks podcasters what fav thing is to do on neo. Answer: av collecting. And the other podcaster likes playing games. Woo
- Jade's first assignment from Scrappy was to go thru the site and play every game. Snot splatter is her fav. To general shock. She links the satisfying feeling of popping bubbles to ASMR? Lol
- last words, anything to promote? Everyone: uhhhh advent calendar? Next year will be big. We want to do more events like ComicCon to meet ppl, it's so fun to meet people. Raven: fun to see the love and dedication ppl have to neopets. When having a bad day, scrappy hangs out on site, read messages ppl send TNT.
- jade: there is an NT article that was entitled I love you scrappy and it's left in the database so scrappy can read it and be happy. Jade is not allowed to delete it. (This was cute)
- Raven moved to neopets recently and it was overwhelming to learn the lore. There is a lore bible apparently that is huge. Raven calls it a wormhole, she does dailies, has a gallery of plushies
- jade checks neopets nation daily

The offices look to be a far cry from the former HQ that held so many employees in the neopets heydays. Still fun to see!

Hmm, the new pet idea is interesting. I can't see it being cost-effective for them to do it because the old NC items wouldn't fit? then again, they did say "there's a plan to have a plan" so I'm sure that's wayyyyyyy in the future.

I know it's probably not happening, but since they are having to redraw all clothes out of flash, they could at least make they wearable my vandas right?

for the, a new species could be amazing, but if it was to be like vanda completly neglected, there's no point on it for me.
It's a species i love but would never have one because it's hard to customize with so many items not fitting x.x

but about the podcast as a whole, will be listening to it later, but by the topics you said were discussed, it sounds super interesting!

My thoughts:
- generally softball questions, I think they received them beforehand and might've nixed ones that weren't about Big Things Next Year
- staffers seem fairly genuine about their interest in the site
- Scrappy sounded the most competent by far
- nothing about UCs
- they watch social media quite a bit
- the CEO has too much time on his hands if playing Kass Basher is a thing, fix ur site dude
- nothing about naughty cheating communities

I appreciate TNT doing the podcast and I hope they decide to do it more often. It was nice to see that they enjoy doing what they do and how they have a genuine interest in the site. I'm kinda surprised that they play and lurk outside of their work hours.
