I have no idea what that means so no? It wasn't really an ecosystem, just four fish with some fake plants and pebbles (although I guess if you get technical everything is an ecosystem...)

I'll buy it for $51! That is an awesome deal though. I need to stop finding awesome deals on tanks though and find an awesome place to set them up.

How did everyone get started on their aquarium keeping?

sorry its my wifes, she wants to set it up as a native texas cichlid tank.

and i got started when i was 13, my best friend found a lot of 4-5 aquarium on a resell site for 40$ and wanted me to go halfsies so i did and was off from there 8 years of fresh and the past 1 alomst 2 years of salt. must say i love the challenge of salt way better, but miss my show guppies, i think when my wife an I buy a house i will start breeding shows again.

That's it, I'd be far too worried with a cat or dog that it would get sick or something and we wouldn't be able to treat it. Birds and turtles are less likely to get sick and, as horrible as it sounds, they are a bit easier to replace.

I only have a freshwater tank.. But my roommate has a 30gallon salt water tank! He's looking for a flame anemone to add to his collection.. Any idea where I could find one for him? (I know it'll be pricey, upwards of over $400..)

I have an Axolotl and they are incredibly awesome pets! Very clean, easy to feed, and fun to watch!

They're native to only Mexico City, but at this point they're pretty much extinct in the wild.
