Lab map - broken for all

For a moment I thought that the lab was going to be temporarily down and was lucky enough that my cookie had ended not too long after midnight NST.
Fast forward to now I tried doing some of my dailies and behold come to lab still being down. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, I'd like to get back into zapping my pet in hopes for Robot

Has anyone speculated it's related to the plot?

Said this in another thread, but I think they've cocked up adding the NC UC lab ray on the backend and broken the real lab ray... At least we know something's happening with the UCs haha

@(you need an account to see links) did... I can't imagine the lab having all that much to do wit the NC convertibles though. Also, TNT are probably out of office right now..

woah, that zapping of a wrong pet sounds really dangerous/scary. cannot imagine it happening to my UC.

i would have never imagined something so longstanding to have gone down so suddenly. either someone messed up, or it's really part of the event. if it's the former, it might just have been some developer who was tasked to update NC lab ray, and all he did was Ctrl-H and replace all parts of the code that contains "Lab Ray". lmao.

Fairly sure this isn't plot related. Even Neo aren't dumb enough to deliberately break something people pay real money to use (lab ray cookies), especially without any kind of announcement like 'Oooh, something unusual has happened to the lab ray. Don't worry, lab ray cookies are on hold until we solve this mystery'.

Could possibly be linked to trying to set up an UC lab ray but still weird if it is. Unless someone was looking at the code for the OG ray, sneezed and deleted everything.

We probably won't even hear anything until after New Year's, which is a bummer! I wish they had emergency squad demployments for times loke these haha. I miss my lab dailies. 😔

I've never worked anywhere that didn't have devs on hand in emergencies, even on holidays, to do quick fixes. I've had a dev signing in from a tent in the middle of a german forest to deploy a fix when I escalated it. They may not consider this urgent enough, or it could be a bigger fix than we imagine...

They’ll definitely be able to tell who had it. Especially since we can still use the petpet lab so that right there is an easy tell to see who had it unlocked.
