I usually sleep through my alarm but I've been having very strange very vivid dreams that wake me up in the middle of the night, so hopefully I'll wake up all startled and messed up and remember to get a spooky userbar tonight. :^)

Short background:
My neice had been playing this toy the whole day. That night, around 2am, my wife woke me up to a weird sound from the living room. It turned out to be the toy from my neice. It just played on its own.

That remote control thing reminds me of something from my childhood. When I was a kid my family got this skeleton with a speaker in the mouth with a remote microphone. The jaw would move so it was like it was speaking spookily and the eyes lit up red. The year after we bought it, we hadn't replaced the batteries yet, but I guess it was turned on at some point, but in the middle of the night it started making this really loud noise. I honestly don't remember what it was, but I don't think it was feedback or static, at least that doesn't feel right in my memory, just vaguely electronic. Woke the whole family up.
