The problem with that is that I showed the same pic to my mum in the same environment as me and she saw it as white and brown whereas I still saw it as blue and black

Could be due to the angle/perspective its viewed at. The picture went viral and was also edited shortly after. :p you'll find many variations of the "original" photo, as subtle as they may be.

I thought it was an elaborate prank at first. I switch between seeing both. I wasn't even going to respond to this thread until I realized that there were two separate discussions going on in my class of 22 students while waiting for my professor to start lecturing. It's fuckin' everywhere.
