Okay, so this is kind of a spawn from this thread: (you need an account to see links)
But basically, I changed jobs about 2 months ago. At my old job, my coworkers would always send me links to short stories, mostly from reddit for me to read. Now, I feel lacking in the short story department since I no longer have a coworker who does that (or a job that allows me to do that anymore..)
And I don't go on Reddit cause I've been told by a million people that it's a horrible black hole to get sucked into..
So... I was wondering if people can link me interesting short stories they've found while surfing the web
I'll read almost anything, though I find the somewhat creepy ones catches my eye the most.

You were informed correctly, Reddit is a black hole that will absorb your life.
As for short stories, these are classics that you've probably read but I love them anyway!

One of my absolute favourite short stories! I read it back in grade 8 and haven't forgotten it since.

EPICAC by Kurt Vonnegut, this story makes me feel so hard
...What the heck did I just read.......... It was.. interesting.. I kept getting confused with author commentary between every chapter and it wasn't the ending I was expecting ;-;'
Oooohhh... the first one.. What a thought! xD
The second one made me think of Inception, since they just getting deeper and deeper, or further and further away. And then they reset..? From the beginning?
The third one... mm.. Not sure what to say to that one.. Why were they stoning people? ._.'
T_____________T This is too sad! But after the sadness came the anger of the guy who lied to his now-wife
... Can a girl really be won over by poetry alone? She wasn't even close to interested in the guy but ONE poem won her over??
Also. Poor robot.
The lottery is a cultural commentary kind of story. It was written in the 40s and was incredibly controversial, even getting banned at points. It kinda focuses on individual weakness and hypocrisy. Nobody knows why they do the stonings, but they do them every year so it's a tradition. Nobody speaks out against it... Unless they lose.
