So basically, what do I do here? What is the 'point' of this?

Also can we do pet trading here? The PC I too scary for me xD

Bumping isn't really necessary (most of the time), but you can bump. Typically if you have a selling/buying thread, you must wait 5 hours to bump. Chatting isn't welcome on those and moderators like @(you need an account to see links) will delete any unnecessary posts.

The PC is a pretty scary place! Especially with all of the accounts getting frozen lately. It's like TNT or other Neopians are raging war against one another.

Users will usually tell you the degree/level of safety associated with their items for sale. Like Walmart, we've got it all! Neopoints, items, pets, Neocash, score senders, autobuyers, et cetera. There are a few sellers with nearly every UC/NC item, ever, available (like @(you need an account to see links), @(you need an account to see links), and @(you need an account to see links)). Their pets are usually VWN.

There's lots of us on site that sell, though! My personal favorite ETS sellers are @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links). Both are very thorough and honest about the acquisition of their items.

You can go (you need an account to see links)and browse the user-created threads. If you want to see what the users I've mentioned have for sale individually, click on their names (to view profile), go to "activity" and then click their name again. Their threads will typically say something like "for sale" or "selling".

Another tip for viewing the (you need an account to see links) forum @(you need an account to see links) (who's also a wonderful seller) linked to:

By default, threads are sorted by which has the most recent reply or bump. This means that the newest sales offers won't necessarily be the first threads you'll see. If you want the threads to be sorted from newest listing to oldest, go to the bottom of the page and choose to sort the threads by thread start time.

The default view (sort by last post time) is helpful in seeing old listings with items that are still up for sale (I've seen a year-old listing actually sell something a day or two ago, and some sellers decide to just update one thread with newer listings), but if you plan to visit Trades frequently (I refresh that forum several times a day to look for fun things to buy), I'd recommend switching to non-default view (sort by thread start time) once you've looked through several pages of the listings a couple times so you don't end up just seeing the same things over and over again.

If you have something specific you want to buy, you can also start a thread there and put "Buying -insert whatever you want to buy here-" as your title.

Now go and buy all the things so I can stop getting tempted to buy stuff lol
