how do you trade items worth more than 2m nps?

i'm trying to trade a kauvara TC that's worth 7m according to jellyneo. i want to trade it for around 5m, but im confused about how to do that! i've never traded anything before.. would i put up other junk items in the same auction for the other 3m?

most people nowadays put the item into the auction and you are able to get to that value on auctions. unless its worth more than 100M then people do junk auctions

also why is the limit only 2m makes it so much more complicated to trade higher value items!! lol

i tried to auction it a couple times but got no bids.. would i put it up on the trading post and auction it for a specific buyer? maybe i'm pricing it too high at 5m idk

Yeah, I never understood why they upped the shop limit to 10x what it was, but then only did 2.5 for the TP, which is only double the shops now. Really should have made the TP limit 10m or something. But I guess that's what baby paintbrushes as currency aare for.

exactly lol and obviously people are finding ways to sell things on tp for more than 2m anyways.. i guess i can ask for baby pbs bc ill have to trade again for the items im saving up for anyways!

yeah its either doing a NF only auction, or adding on a ton of baby pbs for stuff thats the range of 2mil + ~6mil (since you can add 10 items to a trade). its really lots of hoops to jump through

I agree that the max of 2 mil is silly. we shouldn't have to try to find our own work arounds to sell high-priced items -.-

for me personally (if i take the auction route), i usually have it on the trading post and when someone is wanting to buy, i take the item down and put it up for auction (nf only) for them to "buy" it. For instance, if it is a 5 mil item, i will put it at 4 mil and make the minimum increment 1 mil so that when the buyer bids it will equal 5 mil. i hope that makes sense!

other than that, making up for the rest in baby pbs is pretty standard if the item isn't too expensive.

Yep, this is why a lot say "*** NP obo, NM to auction". Neomail an offer and they put it on AH as Neofriend only or whatever for your offer price.

I just do 2m + however many baby paint brushes make up the rest
Thankfully baby PBS are super easy to sell
Just chuck em in your shop and you're all good lol

I think the 2m limit is dumb though
