How do people keep finding my pets?!

I've had several people within the past month neomail me and ask if certain pets were UFT. I am NOT active anywhere, not on boards, guilds, anything. I was just wondering how a person goes about finding specific pets on Neo?

Are they RW or RN pets?

See, I've googled my own pets until I was blue in the face and have scrolled through categories in pet directories and wasn't able to find any mention of them.

I have a UC pet and I've never had this problem.

Shops, games, something like that also make it possible to find you.
Also there are specific searches you can use in google to find all the pet species/color you are looking for and then people just click through all of them until they find one that is UC.
Completely inactive pets usually won't show up in a search like this, but if you are working on securing your pets and caching them in preparation to start posting on the boards and such, the pets would be google searchable.
Or perhaps your pets are on a known main account that used to be active back in the day. It may be posted on reddit or some other site like that.

If none of these seem possible . . . perhaps someone you told about the account told a friend told a friend, and then that person is offering? Luckily PCOL is inactive so even if one person is offering on your pets it's unlikely the rest of the PC and all the report happies will find out

I have a UC pet and I've never had this problem.

This has happened to me to me with two different UCs on two different accounts. Last spring and this month.

Have you tried specifically searching your pets' names in Google and seeing what caches show up?

The only other thing I could think of is a stalk list that has been compiled over several years..
