Maybe post some basic information of the pet on here and see if it was somebody on this site. Could be a misunderstanding... or maybe the original owner just got it back.
I've been storing an UC on a shell for several months. I tried transferring it this month, only to find that the PIN and password have been changed on the account. I had changed it all and secured it when I first got it, but it's been hacked and now my UC is being transferred to an account that is not mine.
Should I just report the pet as stolen and have it frozen? I don't think I'll be able to get it back, so I'd rather it be frozen and have the other person lose it if I have to lose it.
I forgot to mention that the email has also been changed from one of my own. When I got the pet and the shell account, I changed all information.

Aww dang. Is the account it's being transferred to another shell? Nming the person is a long shot but you never know and there's nothing to lose anyway.
So if you changed the PW of the shell when you originally got it, then there is always a very small chance that the account was reacquired through an unreg
