Isn't there a setting to turn off username effects somewhere

Disable Text Effects is at the very bottom, but I don't know if will affect finding the hearts or not.

I disabled text effects and still see username effects in the "last 30 days" section.

Hmmm... What about if you select all the text in the bottom section, would the hearts be blue highlighted or unaffected like the eggs?

I was more wondering if the hearts act as their own "username" (??), whether they'd show up or not without the image. But switching to black should help with the contrast!

A question for you all. I love the text that pops up with our little Ryu's if we want. But I have a vistor Ryu and I cannot see the text. Is that because there just is not room on the little userbar??? I could never give my Cashew's friend Trixie, but the text is cute.

Hearts are not classed as a username from what I recall when looking, there are def some hacky ways to disable those effects, but not sure if I'd be welcome to share or if it would be considered fun-ruining or something.

Honestly i'm desperate to disable just the valentines effect that's hearts. everyone's name has hearts around it and its making my search impossible.

Oh my gosh I'm just now able to sit down and see all of the cupid valentine grams and I have such a big smile! These are so CUTE! And I can't wait to start the hunt for candy hearts!!!!
