Credit card numbers are not stored on the Neopets website, all real life monetary transactions are completed through Paypal a third party service. That is the entire appeal of Paypal and why so many sites have you go through at third party servicer to buy things. The extra layer of security. Then I see people mentioning bank information... I have never put my routing or account number on Neopets.com, is there a keylogger I am not aware of? How do I buy NC through ACH? You people are fear mongering. They don't have that significant a level of access to payment information. I am going to ask again, what critical, personal information on you storing on your Neopets account? I hope not your SSN or drivers license no. Your birthdate, email and full name are constantly being traded by advertises and trackers. Also I never said Guy Fawkes was a good person. Dude wanted to blow up parliamentary, he was a terrorist willing to die for an ideal, idk if this guys ideal is your personal ID, harassing women or exposing TNT but the only threat to any account security I have on this site right now is catching a ban by TNT for using a VPN in 2023.

That's completely fair. I didn't consider that this person could use these tools to be sexually harass women. Broadens things for me. I would usually assume blackhats want more than to bother women but we're in that incel era for sure. With that being said I would argue the biggest threat is the person identifying whatever younger / minor users there may still be left and targeting them specifically.

Oh, I think here they meant that as an everyday player over speaking in first person as N_t. TNT changed their stance on VPNs recently and have allowed users to use them, however, some still think they may be frozen due to VPNs still being utilized for shell accounts and stuff. So, they've lightened up on it, but still take actions against someone using it for rule breaking purposes.

I tried to go see and take screenshots, but alas, mods already deleted whatever it was that he said. They don't like their members mentioning or posting screenshots of "ck" and usually go to great lengths to scrub any links to guides and stuff that people may get off Google.

His last message was "So that's me defending a predator, which must make me him. I hate the internet so much."
