My fear for the entire conversion is how juvenile I fear it will be. I really don't think they appreciate that the entire site is only visited by adults. Maybe they want to try and lure the kids back but I do not think that will happen. I was hoping they would take a page from a pet site like Subeta. They have great art

I agree, although Subeta doesn't hold my attention nearly as much as Neopets does, what they do best is really cater to their audience. I get that it's a much smaller community/it was suited for older folks from the get go and not run by a corporate entity, but JS really needs to fucking wise up or this ship is going down on its own, no iceberg needed.

Leave it to Neopets to give us unrealistic expectations for real life body proportions.

I also want to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that the devs responsible for the redesign aren't the ones who could/should be moving things over from flash... but god damn I do want them to get rid of flash.

yeah, they probably have a frontend dev and backend engineer for different purposes.

BUT that doesnt mean they should neglect on user responsiveness UI. not cool neopets.

This is one of my huge pet peeves.

A similar box is auto-checked on every account you log in that has to agree to the new Terms. It's the same thing just about all companies do, and it's skeezy as hell. That JS/Neo is piling on is just gross.

And they can't even manage to spell Neopets out.



All they had to do was copy paste the same disgusting text they assault users who haven't logged in since the last policy update, and they couldn't even do that right.

My only nod of approval is I appreciate the Oxford comma in the new version. I guess. If you're going to be disgusting, be correct.

Totally agree. I feel like they need to properly assess their user demographics. I get it being a "children's" site but honestly between CK and the lurking the Neo boards, it's pretty obvious a good chunk of their user base are us older kids lol I feel like I'm like 5 when I look at these designs.

wow I've just logged into my account for the first time since like december/january and this new layout is so strange? i don't like how some pages look like the old layout and then most pages have this new layout.. the search option doesn't even work for me lol? I've been away from the community for so long since going back to college so I've definitely missed out on when the site moved over, adjusting is definitely weird now :/ I'm not sure how I feel about it

To be fair, almost every female champion in League of Legends has this and that game makes billions of dollars

But yeah this looks horrible and I'm going to hate that I still play Neopets more than I hate that I play League. TNT plz fix
