When you opened it in notepad to edit, you must have accidentally also set notepad as the default program. You need to set python.exe as the default program for .py files. The process is different for different OSs. You can google this.

Mine says "NameError: name "client" is not defined" after entering client.py into my cmd prompt. Help please?

Is there anyway to make it so that the bot will "isolate" the workers in their zones? I find it really slow when they all have to walk to the storage

That is only an aesthetic thing. They don't really move anywhere. Neither in the game, nor in the bot.
