Question about reselling AB'd items.

If someone were to resell illegit items on Neopets, that they buy from someone who is AB'ing on Neopets, would tnt ice someone for that? Like, how would tnt know if the reseller knew they were legit or not.

I've been curious about this, and don't really want to try it out but if someone has insight!

As ABing is against the accepted ToS of Neopets, yes, there's a chance you might end up zapped for this.

One thing you need to keep in mind is TNT's down to fewer people in the team, therefore they rely heavily on programmed supervision (and live monitors but I guess the support staff's too busy with all the tickets nowadays lmao)

No, they usually don't ice the person who bought from the illegit user, unless they're just obviously the same person sending items between accounts for like 1np an item, etc.

I've sold hundreds upon hundreds of millions over the last two years doing exactly everything mentioned here and have never been frozen once.

I AB on shells under a VPN, xfer items using the TP to my main, then sell for large discounts to either random people or a handful of people who consistently buy from me in bulk. Never had an issue.

I've had an issue linked to ABing twice, but that was good two, three years ago. I happened to AB two items on a shell, then bought few simpler ones to avoid being detected. Didn't work too well and I ended up being zapped. However, I've had the exact same settings set up for others shells and nada, nothing really happened (each with a different IP); traded the items to someone through one of the shells and both of us went to iceland.

It's really hard to say what makes TNT eye you with wariness. Perhaps I've packed myself under a monitor's eye, or maybe the previous owner of the account had pulled out something risky, which makes them flag you for the future notice.
