What do you like and not like about Neopets?

So I was wondering. these 2 are general questions about how you feel about the site

Things I like about Neopets:
1. fun people I've met on the neoboards
2. NC mall because I personally find customized pets to be pretty ^^
3. games
4. cool RE's
5. new BD because it gives out prizes even though DoN is no longer working
6. can't think of anything else but it is a site I enjoy playing and helps me relax and temporarily forget about the stress of everyday life lolz

Things I do not like about Neopets:
1. slow ticket response (I guess everybody does and they are also very fast when it comes to punishing players but when it comes to responding to tickets/providing resolutions, they are very slow)
2. annoying REs that like to steal NPs/items and those that messes up with the active pet's stat
3. annoying filters (they're being too kid-friendly and it's so hard to get to know more about people )
4. PC trading because it's horrible
5. NC trading (people who have NC TL and when you offer something fair or something they want, they reject. Wonder why they have to put those items on their NC TL list instead of their HTPW list lolz)
6. people who under offer on your stuff
7. random/luck-based avatars lolz

- A few nice people on boards
- Guilds
- Petpages

Guilds are awesome and petpages are fun to look at.
I also like AG since it only takes every 2-3 days to for accepted entries to be published (unlike the NT, some people have waited for months).
I'm not very much into BC. I have been considering it actually but what I don't like about it is it being a popularity contest and people go to the neoboards to advertise their stuff. But then again, since people are asking for votes here, I might reconsider it

It's actually stated in the editorial that it IS indeed a popularity contest. The art gallery is an art contest.

If you enter... say your lab jubjub and place 1st. You can't enter it for like 6 months. BUT if you morph it in to a koi you can enter again right away. Because its only gold banned in its species.

Yup. But I wish it was something like RC or AG where TNT staff would also judge 'cause I have artistic friends who really had awesome art and spent a lot of time doing their art and also asking for votes but they still didn't win so efforts and time wasted. Just my own personal opinion though

I guess thats true, but it also leaves it open for anyone to enter. Not saying EVERYONE can do draik.

I entered my UC faerie yurble with a gif of him blinking. I went on vacation and came home to a silver trophy. It was great!

Cool!! How long were you on a vacation? Also, did you do a lot of advertising before going on vacation?

I posted on Charter in their regular BC weekly thread. I got second with like 25 votes.

You can easily get 25 votes in about 20 minutes of advertising.



Just say GL on pc, post on the art board and post in premium. Do it once a day for 20-30 minutes and you'll win with 200-600 votes.

Hate that it's so hard to make connections outside of neo with friends because TNT filters operate under the assumption that the people that play are still 12-15 year olds.
