Not necessarily true. I returned to neo after a few years & my first board was asking about munsterpoo & why I was getting so many neomails about my royal. I was soo naive

Like this is exactly what I was thinking. No reason to go to the PC if you have no idea about anything neopets related. Either way I hope they don't get frozen. But I do wish people would stop doing that like its a good idea :/

I juuuuuuuust want to play devil's advocate for a second and say that all these boards on cK lately also bringing attention to pets or people we're uncertain about is probably playing a role, too, in their safety.

We already know that people who aren't members here can see what we discuss, as many of them have directly mentioned current boards we have up ON neopets.
If we want to keep buyers and their UCs safe (which should always have a first line of defense in the form of a conversation between seller and buyer) - no matter how sketchy or uncertain it looks to us - the best bet is probably going to be not bringing additional attention to it, y'know?

Like, it says a lot to have an entire forum of people who (for the most part) do things on neo to break the rules also pointing out sketchy people on the PC... even if we don't report, we could pave the way for people who do (the same way the PCoutlist did for so long). The more attention something gets, the more likely the people who do report things are going to notice.
