Excuse my mini rant

So as usual I was going through NCC today, just scrolling and lurking as usual and I clicked on a board that mentioned the person was going to leave Neopets and was giving away stuff from their gallery. So naturally (like everyone else on NCC), we assumed she meant she was giving away (as in free) items (I even double checked the meaning of giveaway on google). When a whole bunch of people offered, she sent a whole bunch of replies saying 'Sorry, seeking minimum x on this'

Like I'm sorry but doesn't giving away usually mean it's free or at least worth one GBC? If you actually want to follow a value guide in exchange for your items, then be more specific and say 'I'm leaving so I'm trading all my items at the current value it's at'. It's NOT that hard to specify. Everyone else who offered were so confused.

I'm sorry for this rant and if it didn't make sense but I'm just so mad and it feels like a click bait for people to just offer GBCs on her stuff. If that girl is here on cK, please make your post more specific next time so everyone else won't get their hopes up only to be disappointed in the end.

It's annoying as hell. They do a "quitting sale" where everything is one GBC... when they're unpopular and only worth 1 max in the first place

Very very rarely you do get people actually quitting who will just gift you their stuff. I got a nice 15cap item from a board about a month back and didn't even need to send a gift box capsule.

I've seen NP quitting sales more often than NC quitting sales (except from one user, I think wurid was her username. She legit gave away a massive ton of stuff including NC and NP items) I salute these people for being so kind. But the other people who post "quitting sales" for the sake of people coming to their board for more traffic should be ashamed of themselves just post a normal board like everyone else.
