    It's Summertime!

    It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)

    So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

    I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

I see no issues with this. In fact, I fully endorse getting ice cream at 730am in winter!

Reminds me of the time I ate Magnum in Australia during winter at 2/3am+ on the day we're flying back.
It's such a waste to have to throw them away if we don't finish them.

TMI but we all had a stomachache when we reached the airport HAHAHAHA.

That's definitely something I do when it's completely frozen outside. Catch me at the 7-11 getting a large slurpee and inhaling the entire thing before we've even gotten home, only to wonder why I'm shivering. And it's most certainly not because of the snow on the ground.

I think I'm going to make ice cream this weekend. It's TOTALLY not related to the fact we are all frothing at the mouth for popsicles lol.

More specifically, blueberry or strawberry ice cream.

@(you need an account to see links) - Wawa is a hilarious name! Take me =) also those popsicles look delicious!! What flavours are they?

I'm out on vacay and it's around 30C where I am-- and sunny. Don't really think summer is for me, but I look forward to the excuse of eating ice cream and gelato everywhere.

It's not too humid, thankfully, or I'd probably rather lay in bed in the hotel LOL. I worked one summer in Houston in an internship and that was enough Texas + humid heat for my entire life....

My hair would sob 24/7 so I totally get how you feel about hot & humid!

Are you enjoying your vacation? How long are you away for?

Humid heat is soooooooo discomforting. You can't do anything without sweating a swimming pool worth of liquid.
