Anybody know of a way to beat the captchas? I'm currently working on looking through old stuff and having to clear the captchas is really starting to take more and more time away from me lol.
Is there a way to make them pop up less - other than just checking userlookups a little bit at a time every other hour or so? It would be very convenient if there were a service where you could load in a long list of URLs and have it snag a screenshot of the page after the captcha is solved. Idk if this exists, but that would be fantastic.
On a side note - these captchas need to go.
What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

Only thing i've found that helps is changing to a new proxy/account once the captchas start to get tedious. Never found a way to automate or completely bypass them though.

One tip I picked up during the Altador Cup was to make sure you're signed into a Google account on the browser you're using.
There was also the 'Buster Captcha Solver for Humans' Chrome plugin that made them a little less tedious.

This! It's been available on (you need an account to see links) for a while, and it looks like it's now available for (you need an account to see links) too (I have never tested the latter version but will be trying it now)
Anecdotal but captchas really start getting in my face when I'm on proxies, I rarely get them on my regular IP (this may be irrelevant if your activities necessitate proxy protection by nature)
ETA: the FF version works yaya

I keep getting your computer might be sending automatic quarries anyone know how to stop this?
that may not be a function of the extension because I too haven't been getting captchas at all this afternoon?? I had to get onto a proxy and start spam refreshing userlookups to trigger a captcha to test the Firefox version...
normally you'll see their little icon at the bottom of the captcha and when you click it it solves it:

If you've ruled out the possibility that nobody is hijacking your computer or home internet connection, then you have a couple of choices. Either get a new IP address, or submit a support ticket to Google asking to be taken off their greylist. Retrieving a new IP address would probably be a bit simpler since you don't have to reach out to Google and wait for their reply. You may be able to change your router's MAC address, then reboot your modem in order to get a new IP. If that's not an option, then you could reach out to your internet provider and explain that your IP seems to be blocked and may have made it into a shared blacklist for some reason. They would then be able to swap it out with a new IP.
